Country Inn & Suites by Carlson
at Tremblant - Perfect for a Skiing Family
The Country Inn & Suites by Carlson was perfect for our family
during a recent ski trip to Mont Tremblant in
Quebec.
The Hotel takes its architectural theme
from a monestary but the decor is anything but
monk-like.
Children under 18 stay fee at Carlson Inns
& Suites and Continental breakfast is included for
every night's stay. The Family Getaway Package
for a family of 4 (2 adults - 2 Children) including lift
tickets and the continental breakfast is offered and can
be booked online at www.tremblant.ca.

Our country
decorated one-bedroom suite featured two beds and
a pull-out sofa bed with room for 6 people to
sleep comfortably.

The suites have that homey feel with a gas
fireplace, dinette and balcony. Most suites at the
Hotel feature the fireplaces. Televisions in both
the bedroom and living area let mom and dad tune into some
travel shows while the other TV was set to cartoons.
A spacious bathroom with a separate door
from the bedroom offered an extra touch of privacy.
We took advantage of the
fully-equipped kitchens
to cook a lunch and dinner.

The convenience of having a
microwave, fridge, oven and dishwasher in the room
was great for the times when we wanted to cook our
own meal or eat-in. |
Every morning we took advantage of the
early breakfast as a great way to start the day before
heading out to the slopes.
Among other attributes of this hotel was
the direct outside/inside access to the ski/storage
lockers on the first floor. This amenity meant no
carrying of skis or snowboards up and down any stairs or
through the lobby during our stay. There was also a
coin operated laundry in the Hotel for those times when we
needed to dry out some of our ski wear.
After a full day of skiing the outdoor hot tub
was a popular spot for us.
Location was also a big plus for staying
with our children at The Country Inn & Suites. It
was close to the Cabriolet, a free open-air gondola that
runs up and down the Pedestrian Village. It was just
a short walk with the skis, a hop on the Cabriolet and in
minutes we were on the slopes.
Every time we
headed for a walk our boys had to played on
one of two
playgrounds at Tremblant that was right outside.
Lac Miroir also backs onto the
hotel for skating when the weather permits.

The Underground parking was very
convenient when we were checking in and out with all
the equipment.
Our family enjoyed a cozy stay at the
Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, a Tremblant Resort
that was perfect for our skiing family.
