Sunshine Inn Ski Week 

Welcome to the Sunshine Inn. If you are staying in the Sunshine Inn for five nights or more (over the Sunday to Friday period) you are entitled to complimentary lessons. These lessons run every morning Monday to Thursday from 10:00 – 12:00.

There are benefits of ski week lessons. You will be with the same instructor for four consecutive days and your instructor will be at all of the apres events, letting you know if there are any day to day changes.

Lessons will run Monday to Thursday, 10:00 to 12:00 with an apres program.

Registration for ski week is in the Assiniboine room, Sunday night from 6:00 to 9:00 PM., if possible please register before 7:00.

The apres program will run as follows:

Monday afternoon: 4:00 – 5:00 - This is an opportunity for you to sit down with your instructor and enjoy some mulled wine. If any class changes need to be done this is where we can accommodate you.

Tuesday evening: 8:00 – 10:00 - On this evening the Chimney Corner Lounge turns into a casino. Your instructor will be there dealing cards and there are several different games for everyone to enjoy. At the end of the night we will have a fun auction and raffle off prizes!

Wednesday evening: 9:00 – 11:00 - Come try out your singing voice at karaoke night in Mad Trappers Saloon. We have a wide variety of songs for the whole family to enjoy, grab your instructor and find a song you like. If you like you can rock into the wee hours of the morning.

Thursday evening: 6:00 – 9:00 - In the morning your group will have participated in a fun race and received a group photo. On Thursday evening you can view your photos with your instructor before the race presentations. This is the final evening of the program so the entire group will eat dinner in the Eagles Nest Dinning Room.

Everyone in your party is welcome to join the evening activities, adults and children included. There is a nightly children’s program as well for ages 6 – 12.

We hope you enjoy your stay with us and that your ski week is a memorable experience.

This program is designed so those children partaking in the ski week lessons can also be involved in après activities with their instructor. These activities run Monday – Thursday evening and are a great way for the children and instructors to make the most of their evenings at the Inn.

The program runs out of the Assiniboine Room on the first floor of the hotel.

And is designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old.

There is no charge for this program other than dinner, which will be signed to your room. Dinner is usually a buffet style with a base rate per child. Children must know their room number and if they are on the meal plan or not. A 10% gratuity charge will be added to the dinner charge unless you are on the meal plan.

The evening program is as follows:

Monday: 4:00 – 7:00 - This is the first night of the program, so the first hour is hot chocolate and a "get to know you". If any class changes need to be made this is where we can accommodate you. Dinner orders will be taken at 5:00 and we will finish the evening by watching a movie.

Tuesday: 5:30 – 8:30 - Dinner orders are taken at the start of the night and after dinner we head out to the hill for some garbage bag sliding. The children are welcome to come in after that and join in casino night.

Wednesday: 5:30 – 8:30 - Dinner orders are taken at the start of the night and after dinner it’s hot tubing. We have different games that we play in the tub and enough instructors that it is safe for all children to participate. After hot tubing the children are welcome to come to karaoke night and sing with their instructors.

Thursday: 5:30 – 8:30 - This is the final evening of the program and just like the adults the children will have participated in a fun race in the morning. They can view their photos and there will be race presentations for them as well. After dinner we have a treasure hunt in the hotel, with fun prizes at the end.

The activities may change due to weather conditions and other factors. Over the holidays there will be theme nights and different activities.
