Some people says that days are shorter during winter? Actually, this is all wrong in Tremblant! December 22^nd are beginning ``First Tracks``. On selected days, early birds have the chance to race down the slopes of the North Side, from 8 h to 9 h, before the opening of the mountain. Tremblant waits for skiers and snowboarders as early as 7 h 15 at the Télécabine Express. Before racing down the mountain, they can enjoy the panorama and savour the delicious breakfast buffet of the Grand Manitou. Tremblant invites you to live mornings at their best on December 22-23 and to repeat the experience from December 27 to 30. The ``First Tracks`` 2002 are scheduled for January 3 to 6, and on January 12-13, 19-20, 26-27 weekends. Enjoy also the early mornings on February 2-3 and 9-10 weekends and from February 16 to 24. Before winter becomes history, treat yourself and begin skiing at 8 h every weekend of March..

Braving gravity

December 22^nd, Tremblant’s Gravity Park is celebrating his third anniversary and invites snowboarders and freeskiers to brave gravity on his grand opening day. This season again, many activities and events as big as the Canadian Snowboard Championship are planned.

Accorded to Freeskier Magazine, the Gravity Park figures among the Parks Top 15 in eastern North America. The Park’s main attraction is a 5 meters (17 foot) high and 130 meters (425 foot) long half-pipe with a 19° incline. The Park and the half-pipe is 884 meters (2900 foot) high. Three different ski piste from the North Side makes easy the access to the Gravity Park.

The Mini Gravity Park, especially created for youths and beginners, allows to novices to test their skills. This miniature version of the original Gravity Park offers a 2,5 meters (8 foot) high and 69 meters (225 foot) long half-pipe, including jumps, bumps and slopes to rehearse figures.

At Tremblant, a ski day is never enough. Fortunately, the Soirées de Glisse Volkswagen, starting December 29^th, prolong the Tremblant’s experience every Wednesdays and Saturdays evening from 18 h 30 to 22 h. This season, Tremblant gives sleepless nights a new meaning with Équilibre, the new enlightened ski piste where people can race down on skis and snowboard or slide on trips, saucers and GT racers. All equipments are available on site.

The Équilibre zone has also a new snow park with dozen of trails to surf in the coolest atmosphere with music and activities.

Dust until dawn, Tremblant definitely offers you the ski at its best!
