Wild Dunes Hosts Realty Show - and You're the Star!
Resort Offers "Straight to DVD" Family Vacation Package
ISLE OF PALMS, SC - Are you a fan of “The Apprentice?”
Tired of the same old t-shirts and bumper stickers from the places you’ve
visited? Wild Dunes Resort, an island resort managed by Destination Hotels
and Resorts and located off the coast of Charleston, SC, has created a
most unique new vacation package that allows guests to “stay and star” in
their very own family vacation reality show – a souvenir that won’t soon
be duplicated.
In the “Real Family Vacation” package, families return home with a
documentary of their visit to this family-friendly island. A film crew
will follow resort “guest stars” everywhere they go – the beach, golf
course, tennis, dinner, and more. In addition to filming the fun, the crew
will set up a stationary camera in the family’s villa, which will be used
as “the confessional.” Here, each family member can go to vent about their
little sister, talk about the cute guy they saw on the beach, or leave
sweet comments thanking loved ones for the interesting and FUN vacation.
Recordings will be made during a two-night stay – from check in to check
out!
After check out, the footage will be professionally edited, condensed to a
60-minute “show,” and mailed to the “stars!” The unedited version will be
sent as well. Packages start at $3,500 for a two-night stay and includes
overnight lodging in one of Wild Dunes’ luxurious three or four-bedroom
villas or homes, up to 10 hours per day of video coverage, one “Southern
Style” breakfast at the Sea Island Grill per guest, two days of beach
chair rentals for four people, and a professionally edited 60-minute video
tape of your “episode”, mailed to you after your stay!
