Team up to Offer the Ultimate Tennis Camp Package
LONGBOAT KEY, FL, August 17, 2004 – The Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, the No. 1
Tennis Resort in the Nation, has teamed up with the Nick Bollettieri Tennis
Academy (NBTA) to offer a junior camp package that also includes an eight-day,
seven-night stay at The Colony. The package is the perfect way for the families
of juniors, aspiring to be the next Grand Slam champion, to enjoy The Colony’s
all suite accommodations, private Gulf-front beach and full array of amenities,
while their child trains like a pro at “the toughest playground in the world” in
nearby Bradenton.
The Colony / NBTA Package includes: 8 days/7 nights accommodations in a
two-bedroom, two-bath suite at The Colony, one week admission to the NBTA Junior
Tennis Program for one child (ages 8-18 years), daily transportation to and from
The Colony to the Academy, a $50 Colony resort credit to be used anywhere on
property (including dining, spa services, tennis instruction, watersports or in
the boutiques), and daily buffet breakfast for two adults. This comprehensive
package, inclusive of The Colony and Academy experiences, is priced at $3,725.
Over 30 years ago, famed tennis coach, Nick Bollettieri, invented the tennis
"training academy" concept while tennis director at The Colony Beach & Tennis
Resort. Since establishing his world-renowned, comprehensive tennis complex in
nearby Bradenton, he has set the standard for the industry and has produced
numerous champions. The weekly sessions for junior players focus on stroke
production/training (drilling), matchplay competition, strategy/matchplay
analysis, mental conditioning, and physical training.
