One rock solid assurance you can
count on for your vacation dollars at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
is the guarantee your family will have fun
and
Smugglers’ Notch in Vermont offers families
a first ever at the Resort – Marko’s Magical Week - July 27
to August 1, 2008
The economy and gas prices may be
shifting, but the chance to have a fun-filled vacation at
Smuggs is not. It is warranted with a money-back guarantee.
Smugglers’ Notch, VT – For years Smugglers’ has been offering
a Family Fun Guarantee. This summer with economic
uncertainties hiding behind the living room curtain, the
guarantee is more critical than ever. The Family Fun
Guarantee assures families they will get high value for their
vacation dollar because there is a financial warranty to back
up the claim.
During the summer, Smuggs offers a wide variety of programs,
from award-winning kids’ camps to adult adventures. If any
member of the family participates in one of these summer
programs for two days or more and doesn’t have fun,
Smugglers’ will refund the entire program portion of that
family member’s stay. It’s as simple as that.
“We are confident about the positive vacation experience that
Smugglers’ consistently delivers to its guests,” states
Managing Director Bill Stritzler. “Our decades in the
hospitality business, our excellent and well-trained staff,
Smuggs purpose-built facilities and inimitable programs –
these are the backbone we justifiably rely on to deliver our
Family Fun Guarantee.”
One additional aspect of reassurance to families who want to
travel to Smugglers’ Notch Resort is Vermont’s reachability.
Vermont offers a well-maintained infrastructure of
Interstates and roadways, and driving them exposes the
state’s authentic beauty and peacefulness along the way. Once
families have arrived an in-resort shuttle system means they
can park their car and forget it for the duration of their
stay.
“Smugglers’ liberal cancellation policy is another
assurance,” states Bob Mulcahy, president. “A fifty percent
deposit is collected when a reservation is made, but should a
family’s plans change, deposits are fully refunded with a
cancellation notice of seven days or more.” For cancellations
closer in than that, deposits will be fully credited to a
future reservation within two years.
Marko
the Magician spends the whole week with kids and their
families showing and teaching them magic tricks and
performing
Smugglers’ Notch, Vermont – Marko’s Magical Week brings an
added dimension to a summer vacation for kids and their
parents at Smugglers’ Notch Resort. From July 27 – August 1,
2008 this prestidigitation professional will be in residence
at the Resort.
The touchpoint for kids and Marko will be at the daily
Adventure Rangers and Notch Squad specialty camps where he
will teach fascinating tricks that the kids can use to wow
their friends and families. The Adventure Rangers experience
is designed for youngsters ages 7-10 and Notch Squad is for
11-15 year olds.
“Marko will hold special sessions for the parents, too,”
explains Smuggs Director of Program Development, Marge
McIntosh. “Adults can learn magic tricks plus useful
self-hypnosis skills that may help them to build confidence,
quit smoking or lose weight.”
Guests who stay at the Resort during Marko’s Magical Week
receive Marko’s special attention as part of the
FamilyFest
vacation package at no additional cost. The Adventure Rangers
and Notch Squaders also enjoy a variety of activities such as
Reservoir Adventures and Water Blitz in the pools and
waterslides, action games, and forest exploration and
orienteering as part of their specialty camp experience.
“Marko has been performing at Smugglers’ for many years and
he is absolutely a fantastic magician and completely engaging
on stage,” says Bob Mulcahy, Smugglers’ president. “I have
marveled at his tricks many many times. We are sure our
guests will find the time with Marko interesting and we hope
it will be lots of fun for them to learn from a master
magician!”
Each evening during the week Marko presents a Magical Review
and on Thursday afternoon the kids will perform some of the
tricks they’ve learned throughout the week at a Resort-wide
event called the
FunMeisters’ Summer Showcase.
