ACTIVITY & ENTERTAINMENT GUIDE

KIDS ACTIVITY NIGHT: Fun activities and crafts for children and teens nightly from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Supervised by our top resort staff. Register for specific activities or join us for a whole week of fun. Cost varies with each activity $15 – $20 per person. Stop by Guest Services for a schedule and price list.

HORSE-DRAWN SLEIGHRIDES: Family fun in a sleigh pulled by Belgian and Percheron draft horses. Rides last 30 minutes and include a hot drink. Available daily starting at 6:00pm. Minimum 8 guests required. Cost: $10 per person or $8 pp for groups of 20 or more. Ask about our Cowboy Dinner options.

SNOWMOBILE TOURS: Fun at night! An exciting way to explore the resort’s mountain terrain. Tours include guides, snowmobile, helmet and a snack. Available nightly from 7:00–9:00pm. Minimum 3 driving guests required. Cost: $85 per driver, $20 per passenger, 6-12 year olds free when accompanied by an adult.

DOGSLED TOURS: Mush your own sled! Experience spectacular mountain scenery and a unique introduction to this traditional form of transportation. Tours include professional guides, necessary equipment and a snack. Trip options: 1 hour @$95 adult, $50 children, half-day @$195, or full-day @$295. Available daily. Moonlight Serenade and Multiple Day Adventures available by request. Rates are per person, children 9 & under ride free with adult. For the adventurous try the exhilarating sport of Ski-Joring. Available by request @$125 per person for two hours.

TORCHLIGHT RUN & BBQ: A great group activity and fun for the whole family! Take the chair to mid-mountain, enjoy a burger and beverage around the fire at the Bear’s Den and finish off with a ski down the Elk Run. Includes guides, headlamp and BBQ dinner. Available on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Trips depart at 5:30pm. Minimum 10 guests required. Cost: $27 adult, $22 child (12 years & under).

CROSS COUNTRY SKI TOURS: Take a tour out on our Silk Trail and beyond with our knowledgeable guides for skill building tips and a good measure of local trivia thrown in. Available daily, flexible departure times, trip duration 3 hours. Tours include rental gear, guide and snacks. All ages welcome. Cost: $30 per person, minimum 2 guests required.

SNOWSHOE TOURS: This is the sport for everyone! See the mountain from an unequaled perspective with our dynamic, informative guides. Tours include guide, snowshoe rental, hot drink and fun. All ages are welcome. Available daily, flexible departure times, trip duration 3 hours. Cost: $30 per person, minimum 2 guests required.

SNOW HOSTS: Come and discover our mountain! Fernie Alpine Resort Ski & Snowboard Hosts provide complimentary tours of the mountain daily. Tours depart at 9:30am and 1:00pm from the carousel in front of Guest Services. Special group tours available upon request.

NASTAR: Your chance to participate in a recreational race with family and friends! All ages and ability levels are welcome. Includes 2 timed runs and official race pin. Every Friday and Sunday at 1:00pm. Only $5 per person.

FIRST TRACKS PROGRAM: The ultimate powder experience! Set first tracks of the day with this early start program. Minimum 2 people required, meet at 7:45am and depart at 8:00am for 2 hours of fun. Cost: $50 per person.
