Bethlehem Night Light Tour - Your Lehigh Valley
Holiday is anchored by Bethlehem, Christmas City U.S.A.
Since being given its Biblical name by Moravian settlers on
Christmas Eve 1741, the city has been rich in holiday
tradition. For the past 250 years, the Christmas
institutions, first celebrated by the Moravians, have been
maintained with dignity and historical integrity. The
Bethlehem Night Light Tour allows your family to see the
beauty of the Christmas City from near and far. This
one-hour bus tour provides a scenic look at the thousands of
understated white lights that adorn north Bethlehem, as well
as the multicolored festive lights of the city's south side.
During your tour a guide, dressed in early Moravian costume,
will share fascinating stories of Bethlehem's historic past.

Old Bethlehem Historic Walk - A walk through downtown
Bethlehem is like taking a pilgrimage through the past. Over
250 years of history are experienced as a guide, draped in
early Moravian garb, takes you on a one-hour walking tour
through the Christmas City's historic district, while
sharing stories about the unique German enclave on the
colonial American frontier. The Old Bethlehem Historic Walk
takes place from November 23 to December 31.
Christkindlmarkt - A Christmas sojourn to the Lehigh
Valley would not be complete without a stopover at
Bethlehem's Christkindlmarkt. This family holiday event,
reminiscent of European yuletide markets, provides the
perfect backdrop to an old fashioned Lehigh Valley Holiday.
Two heated tents house more than 200 fine art vendors
displaying and selling an array of handmade crafts.
Delicious foods, festive entertainment and lovely
decorations all combine to create the perfect holiday
shopping experience. This year's Christkindlmarkt will also
be home to the originally crafted Christmas decorations of
Kiithe Wohlfahrt, the only venue in America where her art
will be displayed. Christkindlmarkt takes place Thursdays to
Sundays from November 23 to December 16.
Lights in the Parkway - Allentown, the largest of the
region's three cities, also contributes to the beautiful
ambiance of a Lehigh Valley Holiday. Lights in the Parkway,
a brilliant display of thousands of holiday lights and
sculptures, is second to none of its kind. You are invited
to drive through the spectacular display, illuminating 1.3
miles of Allentown's Lehigh Parkway, and stop at the gift

Parkway can been viewed from November 21, to January 1,
2002.
Koziar's Christmas Village -- This magnificent
spectacle attracts thousands of visitors each year who come
to view the more than one-half million Christmas lights
adorning buildings, gift bams and landscape. Visit the
various buildings filled with tree trimming ideas, indoor
and outdoor displays and souvenirs. Enjoy the aroma of
freshly baked cookies in the country kitchen, browse in
Santa's Toy Shoppe filled with unusual nutcrackers. See the
unique handmade train platform and follow the many trains
through the tunnels across the trestles, and around the
miniature town located in the large Refreshment Barn. Koziar’s
Christmas Village takes place from November 22 to January 1,
2002.
