World of Water
Smugglers' Notch
Resort has more swimming areas than any other resort in all
of New England. Pools, splash pools, waterslides and an
old fashion swimming hole make swimming at Smugglers' more fun
than the Beach!! |
 SmuggsCentral
is a hub of activity at the Resort Year Round. A large
pool, wading pool, hot tubs, including a family hot tub, and a
waterslide are surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs. During the Winter this pool is transformed into an indoor water
play area. |
 The
secluded Notchville Park is a private spot with
change facilities, sand volleyball court, a picnic
area and croquet. Water play includes a Lily Pad Walk,
Wishing Well Watering Hole and Sugar
House with leaking bucket and water cannon, plus the Twister, a
140 foot water slide. A waterfall flows into the lower pool. |
 A
300 foot long, 30 foot high Giant Rapid River Ride is just the
beginning of the fun at the Mountainside Pool Area.
Little Smugglers' Lagoon lets younger guests play in the splash
area or float in tubes around waterfalls and fountains.
The Turtle, a mini-waterslide, is great fun for the younger ones
too. Perfect for swimming, the huge Mountainside Pool is
in the middle of all the action. |
 Located
on scenic Morse Mountain, Rum
Runners' Hideaway
is a 6 acre reservoir that brings
back memories of an old fashioned swimming hole.
Accessible by wagon ride or a short hike, families can enjoy
canoeing, paddle boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking, the
Fidget Ladder Climb and water games amidst some of Vermont's
most scenic vistas. Aqua Jump, a floating
inflated trampoline leads to bouncing fun on water. |

Ten outdoor and two
indoor tennis courts are part of the TenPro Tennis School for
Adults at Smugglers' Notch. Private and semi-private
lessons and court rentals are available. For Junior Tennis Camp and Twilight Teen Tennis see
Childrens'
Programs. The TenPro Tennis
School's daily clinics (morning clinics coincide with children's
camp activities) include an evaluation by the Resort's Tennis
Pros. Groups of six students per instructor receive 2 hours of top
quality instruction, available for selected 5, 3 and 2 day

CHILDREN'S
PROGRAMS
From June to September kids aged 6 weeks to 17 years old
joining in the Smugglers' Notch Resort Children's Programs experience exciting and unique opportunities
that take advantage of the all the facilities at the Resort.

From all-day programs for various ages,
specialty camps and even overnight hikes to a new
state-of-the-art day care facility for children 6 weeks to 3
years, evening babysitting and special teen centers, kids at
Smugglers' receive TOP NOTCH treatment. Familyfest summer

Treasures Day Care Center
Treasures, opened in December,
2002, offers 5,400 square feet of air-conditioned indoor space and
over 4,000 square feet of outdoor playground for children aged 6
weeks to 3 years with convenient drop off and pick up. |
| Bright airy rooms provide separate
facilities for ages 6 weeks to 17 months, 18 months to 24 months
and 25 months to three years and a crib room for quiet
napping. One-way mirrors allow parents to check on
children. High quality age
appropriate toys, full kitchen facilities, pint-sized toilets and
sinks along with low child to caregiver ratios ensure that
the well trained staff can provide the best of care.
Activities can include escorted mini hikes, crafts, games and
more. Lunch is included with a full day program.
This is a peanut free facility. Open daily from 8:30 am to
4:30 pm. Reservations are required. |

All Day Camps provide flexible supervised
programs that are grouped by age and interest and included in
vacation packages. Appropriate child to counselor
ratios ensure that kids have good, safe fun. Activities
include the exploration of local flora and fauna, nature hikes and
use of the recreational opportunities available
at Smugglers' Notch Resort. Lunch is available at an

sports. Mountain boarding is an all terrain skateboarding
down some of the gentler ski slopes and diggling is a hybrid of
skateboarding and mountain biking - fun and adventure! |

The Smugglers' Notch Teen
Centers are "parent free" zones (except during the
parent teen volleyball challenge) where teens can hang out in a
flexible atmosphere from 5:00 pm to Midnight, with nightly
events. The Teen Alley Teen Center is for teens 13-15 and
The Outer Limits located at SmuggsCentral is for 16 years of age
and up. Both Teen Centers offer these "Just for
Teens" activities: |

| Evening Babysitting and care may be arranged
through Treasures for care in individual
condominium units. A $4.00 finder's fee per babysitter plus
fees of $10.00 per hour for one child and $1.00 per hour for each
additional child are applicable. Advance reservations
are suggested. On selected evenings Treasures
hosts Kids' Night Out from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm for children ages
3 to 11 years old. This fun evening includes dinner,
entertainment and fun. Advance registration is required. |

Smuggs guests have a number of
dining options including two full service restaurants, a pizzeria, a
poolside cabana and the deli/sweet shop on-site at the Resort. Accommodations come with fully equipped
kitchens and the Village Country Store has a selection of grocery and
sundry items available. Local stores are also just a short drive
away. |

The Mountain
Grille, located in the
Meeting House serves breakfast, lunch and dinner including a Little
Smugglers' dinner buffet for children 12 and under and the popular
Breakfast with Mogul Mouse and Billy Bob Bear. Open daily from
8:00 am to 9:00 pm

The Hearth and Candle serves dinner
from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm in a casual atmosphere for families or adults
can choose to dine upstairs in the Birch Room. A children's menu
is available.

The
Mountainside Cabana offers poolside service at the Mountain side
pool with beverages, snacks, hot dogs, ice cream and full bar service.
Open daily 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and the bar is open until 7:00
pm.

Riga-Bello's
Pizzeria is open from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm serving pizzas, calzones,
daily pasta specials and more with dine in, take out and delivery
available.

The
Green Mountain Deli serves light breakfasts, snacks and more from
9:30 am to 10:00 pm. Lunch is served from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and feature soups, sandwiches and
daily specials.

Local restaurants also offer a wide range of dining
selections.
