Logging Chain Lodge is a housekeeping cottage resort
located half
way between Huntsville, one of Muskoka's most well-known communities,
and Algonquin Park, a world-renowned eco-tourism destination. The
resort is ideally situated to take advantage of the area's popular
places of interest for vacationers while enjoying the cozy cottages that are available
weekly year-round as well as daily from September to June.

PACKAGES
Logging Chain Lodge's Housekeeping
Cottages are available on a weekly basis only from June 23 to September
8. From September to June accommodations can be booked on a daily
or weekly basis. Weekly rentals run from Saturday to Saturday with
check in time at 2:00p.m. and check out time at 10:00a.m.
For the enjoyment of Logging Chain
Lodge's guests, all cottages are non-smoking and pets are not permitted.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Logging Chain Lodge, owned and operated
by the same family for over 50 years, offers five single housekeeping
cottages and a duplex housekeeping unit that are clean, modern and well
maintained. All the cottages have electric heat, comfortable bedrooms
with either double, twin or bunk beds and pine paneled living rooms
accentuated with a large picture window overlooking Lake of
Bays.

Single Cottages
Maximum occupancy in two bedroom cottages is 4
people. Three bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 6
people. Maximum includes children.

The Duplex Cottage consists of
two separate suites that offer approximately 700 square feet of
comfort including a 4 piece bath, fully equipped kitchen and
living/dining area. |

and broadloom grace these suites. Maximum occupancy is 6 people per suite. |

There are no televisions or telephones at the lodge
but a pay phone is nearby. Pets and smoking are not permitted at Logging Chain Lodge.

RECREATION
AND ENTERTAINMENT
The clear and temperate waters of
Muskoka's Lake of Bays, the region's spectacular natural landscape and
area attractions combined with the on-site facilities provide vacationers at Logging Chain Lodge with
plenty of recreational opportunities. Also see Children's

From the 340 feet of
gently sloping sandy beach at the Lodge to over 160 miles of shoreline,
the Lake of Bays provides ample opportunity for swimming, fishing, boating and
sailing. A boat ramp is available with small motor boats, fishing
gear and canoes available for rental on site including all the necessary
safety gear. Larger boats and sea-doos can be rented
nearby.

| A large grass playing field which enhances
the grounds facing the cottages is perfect for a game of tag, soccer or
other group activities. Two regulation horseshoe pits and
volleyball area also await
competitors. Tennis courts, horseback riding and many area golf courses are
only minutes away from the Lodge. |

Many nature trails in the vicinity
of Logging Chain Lodge can be enjoyed by hiking or biking.
Daily and hourly bike rentals are available. Fall colours are spectacular in this
region and autumn is a great time to enjoy these
trails.

Two provincial parks, Algonquin and
Arrowhead, provide area visitors with great opportunities for hiking,
biking, swimming and nature trails and in the winter months skating,
tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snowshoes are popular

CHILDREN'S
PROGRAMS
During the summer months,
children staying at
Logging Chain Lodge have an opportunity to participate in the
complimentary organized crafts and activities from 9:00 am to
10:30 am - Monday to Friday. Three age appropriate
activities are planned each morning for ages 1-4 years, 4-7 years
and 8-13 years (all are welcome). Projects include crafts
such as puppet making, beadwork, papier mache, painting, picture
frames, nature walks and more.

A separate play area for younger
children is a wonderful feature at the Lodge. It offers
plenty of space to play with slides, climbers, swings, a playhouse
and toys within sight of all the cottages.
