Elmhirst's Resort is home to the "Free Spirit
Riding Stables" and "Free Spirit Air Adventures",
giving families a unique chance to experience the great outdoors by land
and air. Guided ATV and Snowmobile tours are also offered. The
resort sits on over 350 rolling acres, originally granted to the
Elmhirst Family prior to Canada's Confederation, and includes groomed
nature trails for year round exploration. Summer activities for

VACATION
PACKAGES
Elmhirst's Resort offers superior or
deluxe cottages with a variety of vacation package options designed to
suit every adventurer in the Family. Year-round
seasonally priced packages* include mid week daily, weekend getaway and
weekly rates. During the Christmas Break and holiday weekends
vacation packages* make staying at Elmhirst's Resort a memorable
adventure.
From October to May Mid-week Getaway Packages* bring together seasonal
activities and selected meals. The Resort's Meal Plan can also be added
to any vacation package - see Dining for more
information.
*Rates are based on two persons.

The newly renovated 2 and 3 bedroom Superior
Cottages offer cozy accommodations for families comprised of 2
to 6 persons. Beautiful views of the lake make these
waterfront cottages very popular. Units also feature
dishwashers, whirlpool tubs and comfort duvets on the queen and
double beds.

Larger in size and available with sunken living
rooms, the 1 to 5 bedroom Deluxe Cottages are ideal for groups
or families. Back and side split units allow
families to spread out inside with multiple levels and outside
along the deck and waterfront lawn*. Available with one or
two washrooms and/or a whirlpool bath. These
Cottages are perfect for multiple families and families with
younger children and are in close proximity to most of the resort's recreational
facilities. *5 Bedroom Unit is located in the heart of
the resort.

RECREATION
NEW FOR 2007
JUNIOR RECREATION PROGRAM
Supervised by qualified child care
staff, the new Junior Recreation Program - Treehouse Camp -
operates as a drop off center, providing parents time to go golfing,
boating, hiking or just relaxing for a morning or afternoon. The
program is open Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm-4:00
pm. Children from 2
-8 years are welcome. No charge for guests. Advance booking is
recommended to ensure availability.

Families vacationing at Elmhirst's
Resort have access to a multitude of complimentary recreational
facilities and seasonal activities. Excitement awaits those
wishing to take advantage of the Resort's adventure
opportunities such as exploring the property's recreation trails on
foot, bicycle, horseback*, ATV*, snowmobile* and more. "Free Spirit"
facilities comprise the Horseback Riding Stable* and Air Adventures* by
wheel or float plane.

| With a mile of shoreline, Elmhirst's Resort

the largest lake in the Kawarthas. As part of the
Trent-Severn Waterway, guests can also arrive by boat, bring a

hour trail rides with guide, a 3-hour cowboy breakfast or

an adventure in dining with delectable and tempting menu

dining atmosphere, the Wild Blue Yonder Pub brings the adventure
of flying indoors with an actual bi-plane as part of the
aeronautical decor. The casual atmosphere of the pub
along with themed lighter fare menu items, including pizza and
wings, karaoke, family specials and the big screen television
make this a "Real Plane Place" to dine. |
